Sonia Koshy, DO

Dr. Sonia M Koshy is a Texas native, where she completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Houston.

She attended medical school at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Toledo.  She then completed her Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship in Miramar, FL at the Center for Gynecologic Oncology.

She has a passion for minimally invasive gynecology, with a particular interest in the management of uterine fibroids and providing high quality surgical care in low resource environments. 

She has a particular interest in research, especially in fibroids, and has presented at the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, the American College of Osteopathic Ob/Gyns, and AAGL and published in the North American Proceedings in Gynecology & Obstetrics.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, baking, gardening, reading, scuba diving and snorkeling whenever possible.
